A correctly built RC shock absorber determination make an rc car grip well. at the same time, a poorly assembled shock absorber will make a remote control car handle inconsistently.

Now, this is some tips for building smooth shock absorbers (Build rc Shock Absorbers) :

1. Build RC Shock Absorbers : Rebuilding shock absorber seals
First is to use "Green Slime" to put some grease or oil to the rubber shock seals. This will also create a seal that will minimize oil leaks. This also decreases the friction between the shaft and rubber seals, giving a smooth feeling.

2. Build rc Shock Absorbers : Protecting the shock shafts during assembly
A ordinary mistake is to take hold of the shock shaft with metal pliers. This will cause scratches on the shaft resulting in oil leaks. Protect the shaft by wrapping a piece of rubber between the shaft and the pliers.

Other tips for building a smooth shock absorber is to make sure to bleed the shocks correctly. This mean, you try to remove air bubbles trapped in the oil inside the shock absorber. Also, apply high quality silicon oil (e.g. Associated, Losi, Tamiya). This oils provide the consistency and correct thickness (WT) for specific rc car setups.

Here is some picture of RC Shock Absobers :

1.

2.

3.
4.

5.

6.

7 tips to get your Nitro RC car engine running

1.RC Cars Piston sticks at the top of the bottle (new engine).
The piston of tolerance within the chamber of the piston is so tight, there is no room for the plunger to slide upward. The solution is to heat the piston room with a hair dryer or heat gun. This will expand the room, allowing the piston to slide smoothly, while maintaining good compression.

2.Nitro engine dies when you pull out of the box
If your car is RC decent listening, your problem is probably a wave of nut clutch. The nut clutch is what connects the steering wheel to the crankshaft. Pressing you RC car on the box clutch maintains nuts against the theft of wheels, the creation of spin that is your nitro begun. However, if your clutch is nuts in bulk wear or impacts, it will not have the proper meshing needed to keep the car running once you have removed from your vehicle of the box. To see if you have a clutch nuts in bulk, to consider the fly on the wheel spinning. If so, you need to remove the engine and to strengthen or replace the clutch nut.

3.Engine stands at rc car placed on the ground.
A jelly-clutch bell bearing or broken clutch upheld Spring is the most likely culprit. The engine stalls because the clutch is engaged when the engine is idling. When you put the car on the ground croak the engine because it does not work fast enough to move the car. The spring restraint or the clutch bell on forcing the clutch to be engaged when it should not be. You'll need to inspect parts and repair or replace as necessary.

4.Car, engine running backward
It is a common problem with an easy solution because it is always caused by errors. Be sure to save your RC car on the box with the right guidance and you put your son on the right poles of the battery.

5.Your engine dies warming.
The most likely cause of this is a piston wear and or cylinder sleeve. When the engine is cold, compression is sufficient to obtain and she started to work well. As it warms the match between the piston and the cylinder relentlessly until the sleeve develops. If the adjustment is bad enough, your fuel may leave the cylinder above the piston. As the engine warms, this effect is worse until the engine eventually stalls. You'll need to replace the engine or, if you like working on this kind of thing, the piston and cylinder.

6.Your roto-pullstart nitro start or not start.
Your sense single May not be on the capture of the crank shaft. This can occur if it is extremely dirty and you can clean, dry overnight, and re-install.

7.Your engine speed increases while idling. Very likely that the low speed of the needle on the engine is too lean. A confirmatory test is to pinch the fuel and time how long the engine is running. If less than five seconds, it is too lean, so much longer than 5 seconds, it is too rich

REMOTE CONTROL CARS - Off Road RC Gas Oil Mixture

Petrol rc cars distance from XRC to use actual unleaded petrol from the petrol station and a mixture rc oil of 2-cycle oil that you find on store shelves. Have you any clue of RC cars and RC racing? Your answer may be on the affirmative. This is because RC racing is now becoming a prominent hobby around the world.

RC racing gets into your system like an addicting cigar. You savor, you puff - and enjoy the sensation. But the sensation is addicting that you want to do it to a greater extent. Satisfy your craving for adventure – you can do it by telling your hands to move those joysticks and experience an overwhelming racing escapade.

There are two types of RC cars available in the market these days - the electric and the gasoline powered RC cars. Electric powered RC cars are easy to run and maintain. They are also made quieter. If you feel like racing, you can simply plug in the batteries and run the RC car. As long as the parts are assembled, all you have to do just turn it on and enjoy the show. This is the reason why these RC cars are good for the amateurs.

However, if you wanted a car that spells performance and fun, you can go for RC cars that run on gas. These RC cars are faster and more functional than electric powered RC cars. Nonetheless, they are complex. They require hard work and maintenance. But they are more exciting, nonetheless.

Gas powered RC cars are adored by veteran racers because of their more realistic drive feel. In fact, if you run said models, you can actually hear the engine and feel the heart-thumping power. Another advantage of gas powered RC cars is that you need not wait for batteries to recharge, you just refill the fuel and your back on the thrilling race once again. However, compared to electric RC car, this type of RC car is costly.

Electric and gas powered RC cars both have their sets of advantages and disadvantages. You just have to weigh which of the two is most appealing to you. Be sure that your choice of RC car will not drain your finances. Purchasing and maintaining an RC car that is fueled by gas is expensive. Be certain that you can bear the expenses without drilling a hole in your pocket.

If you have visited an RC car shop, you might have wondered why a RC car hobby would cost more than a toy RC. In addition, the difference in the price is over a hundred dollars – that's quite a sum!

When you go to a hobby store that is specializing in RC cars, one purchase could cause a grave dent in your pocket. This is because most hobby stores are of a professional grade. The hobby RC cars they are selling are designed to perform like the real thing – real cars, trucks, boats and airplanes.

Some of the hobby-grade RC cars are unassembled while others come in partially assembled RC car kit. However, if you want to break free from the hassle of assembly or if you know nothing about the thing, never dare to do it by yourself. Instead, you can opt for an assembled version of the RC car. They are offered by RC car shops. Remember that it is better to let the experts do the assembly for you rather that having it your way and destroy your precious RC car.

If you want your kids to enjoy the adrenaline rush of RC's, you can purchase RC toy cars for them. The latter are designed for children and amateurs alike.

Tips for Choosing Your First Gas RC Car

RC (radio controlled) cars, especially the nitro or gas powered RC cars, are becoming increasingly popular. With speeds up to 70 mph, realistic looks, and racing clubs in virtually every large city, it's easy to see why.

If you want to join this exciting hobby, there're a few Rc Cars Tips you should consider before you buy your first nitro-powered RC car. The basic considerations are: size, type, 2 or 4-stroke motor, maintenance, 2 or 4 wheel drive, and ready-to-run (rtr) or kit cars.

Rc Cars Tips :

Sizes

The two most popular sizes to choose from are 1/8 and 1/10 scale. 1/10th scale is the industry standard for on-road racers, while 1/8th is more popular for off-road trucks and buggies. The larger 1/8th scale on road car comes standard with a 2 or 3 speed automatic transmission.

Types

The touring and racing cars are are the popular choice for on-road use. For best performance, they should be run on a smooth surface.

Trucks and buggies are the choice if off-road action is what you want. Though not as fast as the touring and racing styles, they are still very impressive and extremely rugged as well. And since a smooth surface is not required, they also have the advantage of being able to run just about anywhere.

Motors

Nitro powered RC motors come available in the popular 2-stroke or the less conventional 4- stroke versions. The primary difference is that the 2-stroke motor, much like a weed eater or chain saw, requires a fuel oil mixture. The 4-stroke motor has an oil reservoir and can run on straight fuel. The 2 stroke engine has the advantage of producing higher rpm's (revs up faster) and is more suitable for racing. The 4 stroke engine has more power and torque and is better for offroad use.

The most popular 2-stroke motor is the 23cc (cubic centimeter) displacement engine. It's popularity is due to the amazing 2.5 HP of output it produces. The resulting high speeds and acceleration are what RC racers love.

Additionally, motors come with or without a pull start. The ones without a pull start are cheaper, but you'll also need a starter box.

Maintenance for Nitro Powered RC Cars

Maintenance is a definite requirement of running a nitro powered vehicle. Most hobbyist love tweaking and tuning their vehicles. In addition, you'll need to maintain certain parts such as:

Clutch

Differential

Air Filter

Header and

Pull start cord

2 or 4 Wheel Drive

If you're new to the hobby, you'll find a 2wd car less expensive and easier to work on. The 4wd car has the advantage of better traction and handling in turns which makes it a better choice when you're ready to race.

Kits or Ready to Run (RTR) Rc Cars

Nitro powered rc cars come in kits or ready-to-run right from the box. The primary difference is the whether you want to save time with a RTR car or save money with a kit. However, because of the assembly process, kits better prepare you for required maintenance.

If you choose to build an rc car, don't expect to finish in one sitting. To avoid mistakes, familiarize yourself with the instructions first and get your work area prepared. Some of the things you'll need are:

Small No. 1 and 2 Phillips and flathead screwdrivers

Soap - as a dry lubricant for tight parts

Extra fuel line - to hold screws while positioning

Needle nose and regular slip joint pliers

Flush cutter

Hobby knife with no. 11 blades

When you assemble the car, make sure to work in a well-lit, uncluttered area. You should keep the parts and tools separated using tin boxes, trays, or even an old fishing tackle box.

These are a few of the basics you'll need to know before you buy your first nitro rc car or truck. You should expect to pay around $400 for a complete beginner setup. The price will vary a little depending on whether you choose a kit or RTR and how many tools you need.

Whether you race or just practice by yourself, get ready for a lot of fun!

source=rccarssite.com

What You Must Know about Electric RC Cars

If you are an amateur in the RC racing world, you might complain that it is pretty hard to choose the most suitable electric powered RC car that can serve as a worthy rival to other cars of the same type. Truly, you need some vital information before you push your purchase button.

Electric RC cars run on electric batteries that are made into battery packs. They are sold in two options – the 'ready to run' (rtr) and the built it yourself. If you know nothing about RC cars, it is best for you to choose the former. With it, you just have to turn it on and off it will go.

RC cars, which are fueled by battery packs are easy to purchase and maintain compared to the popular nitro RC cars. They are especially designed for beginners. Nonetheless, there are experienced RC car fanatics that use said cars for comparison and variety purposes.

One advantage of an electric RC car other than its user-friendly character is that it is inexpensive. The difference in price between a gasoline powered and an electric powered RC car may amount to a hundred dollars. Hence, if you are after practicality, and easily-operated and maintained RC's, go for a fast electric RC car.

How to Choose an Electric RC Car?

In choosing electric RC cars, you have to consider a lot of things – budget, capability, maintenance and condition of the RC car. Electric RC cars come in different prices. Choose the one that will not be heavy on your finances.

There are electric RC car kits for both on-road and off-road performance. They come in varying sizes, styles, and colors. Manufacturers offer different electric RC car features. Better choose a car that suits your budget, needs, capabilities and desires.

Also, 'ready to run' kits are ideal for amateurs. They are built with everything in it. No need to worry about the assembly and other parts. Servo, receiver, radio, motor, and the electronic speed control – it's all there in the package – no worries.

However, if building RC cars is your thing, you can purchase the build it yourself kit. You can make sure that the parts are in your kit or you can buy them separately.

Where to purchase?

Beginners can bank on reputable RC car shops. Seek advice from expert RC racers. For sure, they know the right track. If you want to buy online, be sure that you are transacting with a trustworthy pro. Online prices are usually lower. In addition, in online purchasing, you can choose from a wide-variety of cars and parts.

In buying, you must compare price and quality. Aside from that, you can also take advantage of discounts to reduce your expenses.

Tuning and Racing

Tuning is essential to achieve more speed or power. Moreover, it should be coupled with proper break in to yield the best performance. The proper way of break in produces less heat and reduces premature wear and tear. To break-in, just run the motor with the wheels off the ground. Then, draw the radio control by ¼ of the way. This should be done for about five minutes. If you change the brushes, you also need to do the break in. It is also necessary to replace the motor after 5 or more substitutions of brushes.

Rc Cars

Petrol Remote Control Cars

With the growing popularity of remote control cars, manufacturers offer different kinds of models and types to fit with every buyer or user. Both are fine for people who have not had a rc car before, but for sheer power Petrol remote control cars vehicles which include trucks and tanks are far more powerful.

Many people who start out with remote control cars learn quickly that controlling them is a skill but great fun when the car does not do what you think it is going to do. When it comes to damages and servicing, you can buy whatever part you need to complete the job yourself instead of sending away for repair.

There are many groups and clubs around the world which are dedicated into racing rc cars both for fun and in competitions. Each member has a different skill levels so you can learn off others at a fast pace.

Do remember that safety is always first both in using your car in and outdoors and also with other models such as remote control boats as you will be near water.

remote control cars

Variations In Remote Control Cars

If you've ever purchased any of the several remote control cars out there, most likely "the house" version is the one that you purchased. The one that kids can enjoy and they only cost £25-£50 and a pack of batteries to use them. However, as the kids get older, those become obsolete and parents don't take it to the next level, which many will enjoy even into their adult lives. So we wanted to give you some information on electric, nitro, and petrol cars so you can become a little more familiar.

First thing to understand when we are discussing electric remote control cars, they are completely different from those radio controlled ones you have at home. These are the ones that will be able to keep up with real vehicles going down a 35mph road (not really), but reaching speeds as high as 60km/h. The motor consists of a 540-22K, coming with 4WD, and several other features you can check out on the site. Best of all is that they are already assembled to run. Starting cost of an electric car; £68.08.

Nitro cars are different because they not only have an Infinity type engine, but also require fuel to go along with 12 AA batteries. It has a clutch, a 2-speed gearbox, and several other features that will start you on the right path if you are looking to make this more of a serious hobby. These are the fastest remote control cars overall and its been said that a scale speed of 110 mph hits around 13 to 14mph of what a full size vehicle would run. Starting cost of a nitro car; £102.12.

Then, of course, if you are a guru in the RC racing world, you are well informed about the petrol cars that used to cost at least £700, are now at the prices of nitro and electric remote control cars. These little vehicles take unleaded petrol mixed with 2 stroke oil, and have, but are not limited to, single cylinder engines, 520mm wheelbase, 23cc pull start engine, and more features that start at £245.96.

These are not the only prices and to be quite frank, it's hard to put an exact price on any of them because you can do a bunch of modifications, depending on how knowledgeable you are of remote control cars as a whole. You can always start out with a factory car and then later on, move up to more expensive, faster ones. They are a lot of fun once you start messing around with them and can become quite addictive once you find others to race with or places to go. Hopefully, we can help you get started with your very first car.
resource : http://www.petrolrccars.co.uk/
Remote Control Cars

What You Need to Get Started with Cheap Nitro RC Cars

Whether as a gift or a fetish, nitro RC cars will suit your purpose. Analyze their techniques.

Step5 Check out local hobby stores. Some may specialize in race remote control car racing, with store personnel taking part themselves.

Step6 Choose the type of race car you want - remote control gas car(actually nitromethane) or remote control electric car (battery).

Step7 Choose the type of suspension you'll need. Many race remote control car racers who compete on indoor,
carpeted tracks or on smooth, outdoor parking lots use relatively simple suspension systems.

Step8 Remember, most race remote control race cars are rear-wheel drive, although front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive cars are available.

Step9 Learn to correctly set up your race remote control race car. Weight distribution, suspension layout, and aerodynamic manipulation all come into play.

Step10 Build yourself a pit box with the proper tools and support equipment, such as a second (or third!) set of batteries, a quick charger, extra tires, and a spare body.

remote control race car

Things You’ll Need To Set You Remote Control Cars Toys(Rc Car)

This is the thing you need to prepare when you want to setting your remote control cars toys :
1. Wondering when can you ever get yourself experience that special kind of feeling of having fun and excitement by racing with those high-end models of Volvo, Porsche, Mercedes, or perhaps that BMW car? All you can do is wonder now because you simply cannot afford them, right?

Now, how about an alternative? How about getting the same extreme fun and excitement, but without you getting too financially drained?

You may think this is impossible. After all, those full-geared race cars would cost you at least several thousands of dollars. But, the truth is, there are remote control cars (RC) cars you can utilize for the same racing spirit.

Now, thinking it is another impossible thing? As you remember, remote control cars are those you played with when you were growing up. You remember the same cars attached to the control pad via wires and when you set it in motion, you would get the fun at a few mph.

Those remote control cars are still in existence but not so small time for big boys. With the advanced technology always surprising us with things we never think would be possible now, there are now RC cars you can actually use for your favorite pastime. Remote control cars were produced with the exact replicas of those cars you desired most. And now, with the racing activities always seen as the automotive industry's cream of the crop, gas remote control cars are the cheap version. At a fraction of the cost, you can get the same exhilarating experience.

Remote control cars have been in popularity ever since and because of the many followers, there are clubs and associations formed that have led them to dedicate to remote control cars racing. Unbelievable still? Now, there are RC cars that participate to speedways and racetracks. If you have been longing to become a participant in a race, you can do so now without worries of money. Popular remote control cars cars cost only a few hundred dollars. That makes sense for you, is it now?

Gas remote control cars look exactly the same with those favorite racers. For the price of less than US$600, you get a remote control cars equipped with the same features and one that also reaches amazing speeds of over 70mph. If you like more, Dragsters are also out there for you. They accelerate a whopping 0 to 60mph in less than three seconds. A gas-powered remote control cars may take you just over US$300, but it would be sweeter to customize it with a fully functional spoiler, plus a custom paint job with additional little expenses on those.

If you want something more sensible, you can get one of those off-road remote control trucks. A family activity would be great with your remote control cars. Yes, just like with various options offered by the automotive industry, there are endless options for gas RC car enthusiasts. They attract all personalities and ages, because gas remote control cars are the creations that all would surely appreciate.

Remote control cars are the well-loved gas-powered gas wonder. If you cannot wait to get a hold on those gas-powered race cars, you may start looking for one that would suit your need. The magazine is great, and it helps me see what other RC Cars owners think about different models and brands of Remote Control Cars Toys, and I really must say that people’s opinions vary widely, which is why it’s probably always best to just do your own research and get what best suits you, rather than getting what you think best suits you based on some stranger’s opinion. That said, many people who are buying their first Remote Control Cars Toys don’t really know what they are looking for, and it is these people that these reviews are written for.

But they are not meant to be taken literally, but rather as a framework to find what other people consider valuable aspects of Remote Control Cars buying. Then you need to think for yourself whether you care, for instance, whether the Remote Control Cars blades are made of paper or platinum (although your choices would most likely be more like metal or plastic, but I just meant that as an example). All in all, I like this magazine because it considers people from all walks of life, and it understands that even if you are interested in purchasing a Remote Control Cars, you may not be a rich and bored millionaire with any amount of money and no consideration for finding the best deal.

We all know that these days money is hard to come by, and consumers are becoming more and more knowledgeable about their purchases, which is a wonderful thing in my opinion. Of course, there are other people who just want to get the most money they can for themselves, so they mark up Remote Control Cars prices to exorbitant amounts and hope they’ll get a few foolish customers that didn’t do their homework.

And they probably do get a few of those customers, because they stay in business somehow, and I regularly hear horror stories about people who paid way too much for their Remote Control Cars Toys, and when I ask them why they didn’t take the time to read the reviews in my magazine, they usually say that they didn’t know about the magazine, or worse, that they didn’t have enough time. So they had enough time to work their butts off for that money, but then not enough time to read a measly magazine review? I think not. Hopefully, consumers in the future will just continue to become more and more careful about their purchases, because I hate to see people in debt.

It’s such a sad thing. If you happen to be a new RC Cars enthusiast, or you know someone who is, please make sure you read the Remote Control Cars Toys reviews before making your purchase. It can literally save you hundreds of your hard earned dollars.

Remote Control Cars Toys

Remote Control Cars Toys-Origins of the Remote Control Car

There have been many adverts on TV for remote control petrol cars, where you see a car dashing about with a big smile on the boys face and fantastic stunts by the car itself. What people do not realise is there is a lot more to a remote control car than just making it dash about either performing stunts or banging into objects. You will find that petrol cars (nitro cars) are faster and take more skill to control than electric cars.

Several early commercially viable remote control cars became available by 1966, produced by El-Gi (Elettronica Giocattoli), a company from Reggio Emilia, Italy. Their first remote control car model was a 1:12 Ferrari 250LM. This was followed by their 1:10 Ferrari P4 model, which was first shown at the Milan Toy Fair in early 1968. Between the mid to late 1960s, a British company called Mardave also began to produce commercially viable remote control cars. Their first products were nitro- or gas-powered cars which were sold in the early 1970s.

During that period, several commercial products were manufactured by small firms in the United States. Most of these companies started out as slot car companies, then moved into the remote control car field, which was becoming more popular. Early kits were 1/8 scale nitro-powered aluminum flat pan cars powered by a .21 or smaller engine, with the bodies made of polycarbonate.

In 1976, the Japanese firm Tamiya released a series of highly detailed but mechanically simple electric on-road car models. Although more expensive, these kits and radio systems sold quickly. Soon, Tamiya began to produce more purpose-built remote-controlled model cars, and were the first to release off-road buggies with real suspension systems. This allowed remote control cars to be driven virtually anywhere, not just on bitumen and smooth surfaces. It was this development toward the off-road class that brought about much of the hobby's popularity.

Remote Control Cars Toys.

Turbo For RC Cars

I have thinking for the turbo for rc cars for long time ago. Until know, many manufacture still not build turbo for rc cars. Don't you think why? Maybe the RC supercharged nitro engine are much fast. Below is the video of RC supercharged nitro.

Look at that. The RC supercharged nitro engine looks so fast. But how it's perform? Take a look the video below.

Know what can I conclude here, the RC supercharged nitro engine are fast enough. What people do not realize is there is a lot more to a remote control cars than just making it dash about either performing stunts or banging into objects. You will find that petrol cars (nitro cars) are faster and take more skill to control than electric cars.
When you hear of Model Petrol Remote Control Cars you may get the wrong idea of what they are. They aren't all tiny small cars which are given for Christmas, but large 1/5th Scale Remote Control Cars such as Petrol Buggies which uses actual Petrol from a petrol station with a mixture of Stoke Oil which means they can be very cheap to run.

Alternatively you can get Nitro Cars, which use a fuel you need to buy from Model Shops and a bit more expensive than Petrol. You also get the Electric remote control cars which we all grow up with and get given to us as a present from our parents at birthdays or Christmas.

There is a great amount of fun to be had with any remote control cars but the people who grow to love them even more are able to fix and service their Model Petrol Gas remote control cars toys are powered by gas mixture that is referred to as "nitros" or "glow fuel" or what they call "NOS"which brings a degree of style and operation that the bulk of remote control cars toys and trucks cannot "hold a candle to."

It is essential to shop carefully as there are two different types remote control cars toys - kits and rtr or "ready to run". Purchasing rtr remote control cars will most likely allow the car or truck to be taken out of the box and on the track in no time. Loads of gas powered remote control cars enthusiasts get pleasure from building their own which provides a great sense of accomplishment. It may be a beneficial plan to acquire some skill and experience by using rtr gas rc cars first, then after gathering a basic knowledge of the different components build one yourself.

The engine is an essential element in determining the speed and performance of the vehicle. There are a variety of gas engines offered but most of the time they will come loaded with whats called "glow engines". The glow engine is essentially a two cycle internal combustion engine able to offer the control and speed that makes the difference in winning or losing in the world of rc car racing.

The kind of fuel used is a fundamental component in the performance of the vehicle. It is imperative to use only the fuel recommended by the manufacturer. The manufacturer's individually designed fuel mixtures are engineered for providing the power and speed necessary and at the same time shielding critical engine workings from breakdown.

Another essential element is the radio as remote control cars toys use the identical two channel radio system used by all remote control cars toys. If purchasing a rtr or "ready to run" kit, the radio should be included but buying a "build it yourself" kit the radio usually is needed to be supplied seperately. Whichever approach you choose keeping extra batteries and an AC charger on hand is essential. Additional battery packs charged and ready will enable the runinng of the gas remote control cars toys for longer periods of time for uninterrupted fun.

remote control cars toys

Different Between Normal And Turbo Plug(Remote Control Cars Toys)

As you can see, the different between Turbo and normal plug for remote control cars toys is the physical differents. The 1/8 gas cars go 70 - 80 mph in racing competitions. Also called nitro Remote Control Cars because the hobby fuel used contains nitro methane to increase speed and power. Popular are the 1/10 on-road nitro touring cars. For beginners, electric remote control cars are the best... easier to control, build, and maintain. There are even ready to run (rtr) models that sell for less than $100. But I would recommend better models such as the HPI Sprint RTR and Associated TC3 RTR. Great reviews have been posted in rc car forums.

If you prefer playing or racing indoors or have limited space to play, there are small but fast micro and mini remote control cars. Popular models are the 1/28 Kyosho Mini-Z and the 1/18 HPI Micro RS4. One of the hottest segment of the hobby, and companies are scrambling to produce their own mini remote control cars and trucks. For exciting dirt action, the 1/8 off-road gas remote control buggies are the fastest around an off road track. These 4x4 machines reach speeds of 40+ mph.
There are also 1/10 off-road electric remote control buggies such as the RC10B4 which are great racing buggies for beginners.

The new craze... 1/18th Scale Mini Nitro RC Cars! I believe that small, 1/18 scale nitro remote control cars will be the next big thing in the remote control hobby. Combine the popularity of nitro with mini size, definitely a fun model to buy. XRAY is starting the trend by producing a 1/18 scale remote control model car powered by a nitro engine. So cool! remote control car have arrived. Fast nitro remote control cars achieve stock speeds to 80 MPH+. Not into nitro remote control? There are electric RC cars too. Electric remote control cars can be used indoors and outside. Electric rc cars, trucks, helicopters which make amazing gifts for all ages. Whichever remote control car or rc truck you choose, you will not be disappointed.

Lightning F1 Race Car 1:8th Scale RC Electric Car is a ready to run vehicle, which means you are racing within minutes of opening the box. The Lightning comes with all the batteries you need, a charger and a trigger style transmitter. The Lightning F1 Race Car is a very detailed car and at 22 inches long is big enough to turn everyone's head. The Lightning F1 Race Car 1:8th Scale RC Electric is super fast and won't disappoint. Offering information, articles and a list of service providers for all things rc. Check it out at remote control cars.

remote control cars

Remote Control Petrol Cars

There have been many adverts on TV for petrol remote control cars, where you see a car dashing about with a big smile on the boys face and fantastic stunts by the car itself. What people do not realize is there is a lot more to a remote control cars than just making it dash about either performing stunts or banging into objects. You will find that petrol cars (nitro cars) are faster and take more skill to control than electric cars.

As well as cars, you can also get trucks, planes, helicopters, tanks and general remote control cars toys.

Where these cars come into their own as a hobby is buying them and looking into how they work, servicing them or even fixing them or actually building them from scratch. Go into any major newsagents and you will find magazines dedicated to radio control cars, their design, build and tips on how to get more out of their performance as well as major meets where people can race their cars in races.

There are 1000’s of spares you can by online for your car when you decide to take your hobby to the level of servicing and fixing your own nitro car. Many forums can be found for when you do get stuck, as the learning curve is pretty steep but incredibly fun. They can run on grass, concrete and some can move over obstacles you put in their way such as the Monster Truck variations.

In the UK we refer to these cars as radio control petrol cars, but in the United States and Canada they call them Gas powered cars. These cars are superior in most ways to electric cars in that the designs are more robust but the petrol gives them more power, torque and overall fun value.

Each time the car is used, it needs the petrol tank to be filled so you can be up and running within a minute or two, but with an electric car you need to charge it for several hours before first use. Please bear in mind the safety issues with petrol regarding the petrol can spilling over, petrol spilling itself onto areas where you will be walking and take children into consideration.

remote control cars

source : http://petrol-remote-control-cars.co.uk/remote-control-petrol-cars/

Petrol Remote Cars

There is a great amount of fun to be had with any remote control cars but the people who grow to love them even more are able to fix and service their Model Petrol Remote Control Cars with any part they need available to buy from the Model Shops as well as many forums on the internet which specialise in this Niche Hobby.

Cars can range from small entry levels cars from £80 or so, to the large Petrol Remote Control Cars which costs around £300. With the popularity of this hobby, prices have fallen over the last few years but still remains a subject where there is so much to learn it can be baffling.

Inside of these remote control cars, you will find many car parts you find in a normal sized road car such as a carburettor, gearbox and shocks.

As well as Petrol remote control cars, you can also get a range of other types of vehicles. These include Remote Control helicopters, Remote Control Planes, Remote Control Boats, RC Tanks and general Remote Control Cars toys such as robots.

Many of the other vehicles also include modifications which given them more of a realistic approach. For example, there are many fibreglass RC Boats which suck in water which passes over the engine and is pushed out the back which is used to cool the heat. This water coming out of the rear of the boat gives a very realistic effect.

Please do remember the safety aspects of all remote control vehicles. Cars are not as bad as people can hear them, but with planes and the speed they go people may not see or hear them until they are close by and a out of control plane could be very dangerous if it hits someone. The same goes for remote control boats and especially children near water. Make sure you keep a close eye on children as a RC Boat is a very fascinating thing to them. These petrol and nitro cars are for enjoyment so do enjoy them but be careful to.

source: petrolrccars.co.uk
